Find out about our plans for a solar scheme that would deliver much needed renewable energy to IBM’s longstanding site in Hursley.

Renewable energy company, Clean Energy Capital, is preparing a planning application for a solar scheme on land at Home Farm, which neighbours IBM’s Hursley site. The proposals would support IBM in its vital transition to renewable energy use – with the energy generated set to save the equivalent of c. 46,000 tonnes of CO2 or planting c. 60,000 trees.

You can find out more about the proposals here and we invite you to share your feedback with us.

About Clean Energy Capital

Clean Energy Capital was founded in 2021 to give large power users in the UK, such as IBM, direct access to low-cost green energy. Despite the growth of renewable energy in the UK over the last two decades, Clean Energy Capital remains the only developer focused entirely on large-scale private wire renewables for large power users. Clean Energy Capital fully funds, develops, builds, owns, and operates private wire renewable energy assets – with a successful track record of delivery. More information on Clean Energy Capital can be seen at www.cleanenergycapital.co.uk.
